For a long time, black and white films were the only medium available to photographers. Some of them used them to write important chapters in the Railroad Photography history (you can discover some of their work in the book section of this website). Today, digital makes colours common. That's why contemporary photographers are now doing black and white by choice. This section introduces some of their work to you.
