Work in Progress

Hello,

As you could note it, there were no recent updates on this Internet website. Be happy, there is no threat on this Project : work is in progress! François and I are installing new tools.

Thank you for your patience.

Train of thought

Some poetry to continue the brand new 2011 year.

Please, give your opinion

At this time of the year, the Images & Trains Team is asking you your opinion. We want you to tell us about the Project and its website. Here are a few questions for you:

1. What do you think about the subjects, sections and photo-essays that we publish? Do you think they illustrate another way of doing Railroad Photography?
2. The website: which sections do you watch the most? Which sections are useless for you (telling us why if possible)?
3. Do you read texts of the articles on the website? on the PDF magazine?

4. Do you have any suggestions to do to improve the website and/or the Project? You can share your opinion by sending us a mail à this address: images-trains@hotmail.fr

Thanks for your help and your collaboration,

Renaud CHODKOWSKI

November 2010 : It’s all about freight cars

Freight cars rarely play the first role in Railroad Photography. If they are the subject of a picture, it’s probably because their author likes to classify them by type or owner. What if we tried to do creative pictures of them?

The “It’s all about freight cars” event is going to answer to this question through the work from various photographers. Photo-essays and galleries are going to give you opportunities to enhance your creativity. I deeply thank all the people that make this event successful. Be ready to discover the first gallery tomorrow!

The main page of the website is illustrated with John Fasulo’s picture of a freight train in Belgium. The special look of this view is coming from the scan of this black & white print. A nice way to start this journey through creativity. May you enjoy it a lot!
